All new 2022 Maruti Brezza: New teaser reveals HUD – CarToq.com

Maruti Suzuki will be launching the new generation of the Brezza on 30th June. The manufacturer has now started releasing new teasers of the compact SUV. Earlier, the manufacturer showcased the electric sunroof of the Brezza. Now, Maruti Suzuki has released a teaser that showcases the heads-up display of the 2022 Brezza. The bookings of the compact SUV have been opened.

In the video, we can see the heads-up display is the same one as the Baleno. It shows the real-time fuel economy, blower controls, speedometer, time, gear indicator, and speedometer. The heads-up display is not the only feature that has been carried over from the Baleno.

The 2022 Brezza would also come with a 360-degree parking camera that will help in parking the compact SUV. The flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel is also the same one that we have seen on the Baleno. The new touchscreen infotainment system is also the same one that we have seen on the Baleno. It does support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There would also be Suzuki Connected car technology that now supports more features.

The interior of the compact SUV has also been redesigned. It now gets a new dashboard and central console. The instrument cluster is also new. It gets two analogue dials with a multi-information display in the centre.

The exterior of the Brezza has also been heavily redesigned. Maruti Suzuki has retained the boxy design because that is what gave Brezza its SUV stance. Up-front, there are new sleek LED headlamps that have a twin-pod design. The headlamps use an LED projector setup and also have integrated LED Daytime Running Lamps.

On the sides, there are new diamond-cut alloy wheels and there are also roof rails. We do not expect them to be functional. At the rear, there are slim LED tail lamps. If you have seen the spy shots then you would notice there is no “Vitara” badge on the tailgate. It simply spells Brezza now. Maruti Suzuki has removed the Vitara nameplate because they will be using it for the upcoming mid-size SUV.

Maruti Suzuki will offer the Brezza with only one 1.5-litre K12C, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This is the same engine that is being used on the XL6. It produces 103 Ps of max power and 137 Nm of peak torque. It would come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The automatic transmission would also come with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel to take manual control of the gearbox.

The Brezza would be offered in four variants. There would be LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. The automatic transmission would be offered only with the VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ variants. We also know that the Brezza would be offered in 6 mono-tone and 3 dual-tone colours. There would be Metallic Magma Grey, Pearl Brave Khaki, Pearl Arctic White, Exuberant Blue, Sizzling Red, Pearl Brave Khaki and Prime Splendid Silver.
