Apple’s first car will be fully autonomous, won’t be available for end users – GSMArena.com news – GSMArena.com

A new report emerged today to back up most recent claims that Apple has reached a deal with Kia to make its first electric car. And Kia’s US arm will take on production, which is said to kick off in 2024.

The report also confirms that Apple’s first electric car won’t be available for end users and will be aimed at businesses. Moreover, it’s being designed to be fully autonomous. It all seems to be in line with Apple’s acquisition of Drive.ai – a self-driving car startup.

On the same day, a different South Korean source published a report that on February 27, Apple and Kia will sign a $3.5 billion deal regarding a future Kia plant in Georgia, USA. This would ensure at least 100,000 Apple units per year once it kicks off production in 2024 and that number can be upped to 400,000 cars per year.
