Budget 2022 Live Updates: All eyes will be on Frinance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as she unveils the Union Budget 2022-23 in the Parliament today.

Budget 2022 Share Market Live Update: The benchmark equity indices on the BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE) gave up some of their intraday gains but continued to trade over 1 per cent higher in the afternoon trade on Tuesday after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman concluded her Budget 2022 speech in the Parliament.

At 1:00 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading 645.79 points (1.11 per cent) higher at 58,659.96 while the Nifty 50 rose 178.45 points (1.03 per cent) to 17,518.30. Earlier in the day both the indices opened over 0.8 per cent higher and rose around 1.7 per cent with the Sensex hitting a high of 59,032.20 and Nifty touching 17,622.40 during the FM’s budget speech.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman delivered her fourth union budget today (February 1, 2022) where she made several key announcements from announcing  RBI-issued Digital Rupee to capital expenditure around Rs 10.68 lakh crore.
