Dabur has withdrawan its controversial lesbian advertisement after facing backlash on social media. The company also faced the wrath of the home minister of Madhya Pradesh. The company tendered an apology, saying “Fem’s Karwachauth campaign has been withdrawn from all social media handles and we unconditionally apologise for unintentionally hurting people’s sentiments.” MP home minister Narottam Mishra was unhappy with the advertisement and had directed the DGP to probe it. He had also warned Dabur of legal action.
