Ola is also set to unveil an electric car on August 15, and sources tell us that this EV will boast a range of over 500 km on a single charge.

Ola Electric’s CEO Bhavish Aggarval has teased the company’s upcoming electric car on several occasions, and according to him the EV will be the sportiest car built in India. While these claims are certainly big, we will have to wait until the car hits Indian market to see if the performance of the EV will live up to the ambitious claims. Sources also tell us that the EV will have best in class tech, and will be rich in features.
With this new four-wheeler project, Ola Electric aims to disrupt the status quo in the industry. To do so, Ola Electric is planning add several features and tech in the car, and the EV will likely also have best in class specs. A long range of over 500 km along with being the “sportiest car built in India” will certainly aid the Indian automaker’s goals.
