Google Chrome adds built-in ‘Watchlist’ to bookmark movies, TV shows

It is surely difficult to keep tab of all the TV shows and movies that are releasing daily or the ones you want to watch. Well, until now.

Google Chrome has added a built-in ‘Watchlist’ to its Search that will now let you bookmark shows and movies, as reported by 9to5Google.  

The new card is currently available only on mobile either through web or Google app for Android and iOS. Through this functionality, the user can see a new card in the piece of content’s Knowledge Panel. It is right under the trailers and stills card and comes with the message — “Watched it?” and “Watchlist” bookmark icon. In addition to that, those movies which are still going on in theatres will Movies still in theaters also get a “Get tickets” button that switches to the “Showtimes” tab.

However, there is a catch. This functionality is not yet available in India but may be added soon.

Google’s ‘Watchlist’ feature is very easy to use as it also shows up as other cards. Prior to this, Google had added a ‘key moments for videos’ feature too. The feature listed the most relevant videos in Google search results as well as highlighted the relevant-seeming parts of these videos.
