Honda H’ness CB350 retro-cruiser unveiled, to be priced around Rs 1.90 lakh – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India on Wednesday forayed into the 350-cc segment with the H’ness CB350 cruiser.
Honda H’ness CB350 will be retailed through the company’s BigWing channel. The cruiser is likely to priced at Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom), an official said.
The bike would be available in BigWing outlets in Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi and Bhilai from tomorrow. The motorcycle would reach the other dealerships by the beginning of festive season.

Inspired by the iconic 60-year-old CB brand of motorcycles, Honda has packed the CB350 with Smartphone voice control, selectable torque and Bluetooth connectivity.
The motorcycle is powered by brand-new, 350cc, air-cooled, 4 stroke OHC single cylinder engine, which provides smooth acceleration. It produces a max power of 15.5 kW with net torque of 30Nm.
H’ness will be available in two variants: Deluxe and Deluxe Pro.
The Pro variant will additionally get double horn, dual-tone colour, Smartphone voice control system (music on the go, incoming call alert and more through an external device).

Honda H’ness CB350 will compete with the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 42 and Benelli Imperiale 400. H’ness is the first global unveil from HMSI.
The cruiser will be available in 6 colour options. H’ness holds the old world charm circular headlamps, semi-digital instrument dial, leatherette seats and dual-tone tank design.
The price will be announced in the first week of October. The bookings have begun against Rs 5,000.
H’ness gets dual-channel ABS with 310mm disc brake up front and 240mm rear disc. Large section front suspension not only enhances the massive imposing image but also provides immense comfort on rough roads. Pressurized nitrogen-charged rear suspension provides highly responsive rear damping performance.
Engine Start/Stop Switch gives the convenience of turning-off the engine on brief stops with flick of a switch. Ensuring safety of riders in low visibility conditions is the Hazard Switch feature.
The 19-inch front tyre exhibits a distinctive modern roadster style along with increased stability in different road conditions. Giving a comfortable lower stance is 18-inch 130 section rear tyre for enhanced ride quality and improved overall road grip.
The half-duplex cradle frame in steel pipe is used for a soft steering feel. Load allocated to the front is optimized by mounting the engine at low position to lower the center of gravity, which immensely impacts the overall riding feel and maneuverability of the motorcycle.
A highly rigid box-section steel tube is used for the swing arm to effectively reduce distortion and transmit torque of the driving force to road surface improving overall comfortable riding feel.
Tailored for complete control, the riding position features a closely set handlebar and a positional relationship between seat and footrest has been designed to allow the rider to hold on firmly in any riding condition.
A dual seat with superior cushioning is provided to make your daily and highways rides immensely comfortable. Fuel tank capacity of 15 liters gives a sense of freedom from frequent pit-stops during long rides.
