India Vs West indies 2018, Virat KohliJason Holder and Roston Chase played a key role in directing West Indies innings to a respectable score and by the end of Day 1, Indian bowlers looked tired and tried everything but they were unable to restrict the caribbbean side on a low score.The first session was clearly in India’s name as they picked 3 key wickets and West indies batsmen looked puzzled, however signs of recovery were seen in the second session with Chase and Dowrich making the most from opportunities.At stumps, West Indies were 295/7 in 95 over with Chase not out on 98 and Bishoo on the other end.Holder made the crucial half-century and Chase is just two runs short of his century. They both gave a crucial 100-run partnership to West Indies.However, Umesh Yadav struck in the 90th over and removed set-batsman Jason Holder, breaking the crucial partnership.Captain Jason Holder’s return bolstered spirit back into the team and he rose to the occasion, providing the much needed stability.Earlier, West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first against India in the second Test in Hyderabad on Friday.To West Indies’ relief, Jason Holder returned to the side and things started to turn for them.For India, Shardul Thakur joined playing eleven as Mohammad Shami was rested. Shardul received his Test cap from India team head coach Ravi Shastri, he became the 294th player to represent India in Tests but he had to leave the field while he was bowling his second over due to injury.Kuldeep Yadav shined with the ball yet again, picking 3 key wickets Umesh Yadav was just after him, picking Hope and Dowrich. Ashwin got Powell’s wicket.Umesh Yadav picked up wickets three wickets, he was the sole paceman for India after Shardul Thakur had to leave the field following an injury.However, Windies looked patient and showed character. The batsmen initially faltered but then Holder’s prescence and Chase’s inning provided the much needed stability to the team.The second day would be interesting considering there are runs on the baord and India have a strong batting attack
