Kia Sonet Features
The production-spec Kia Sonet is almost identical to the Kia Sonet Concept, which was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Kia’s teams in South Korea and India have collaborated in designing the Sonet. The compact SUV’s front boasts of the signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille, which is flanked by jewel-like LED headlamps with ‘heartbeat’ LED DRLs. You will find projector fog lamps at the front as well. At the rear, the ‘heartbeat’ LED tail lamps mimic the design of the headlamp cluster and are joined by a reflector strip. The 16-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels add more teeth to the overall sporty character of the Sonet. The exterior paint schemes include seven monotone and three dualtone options.
The cabin of the Kia Sonet boasts of features not even heard of in the compact SUV segment. The dashboard has been neatly designed. The centre console’s prime attraction is a segment-best 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster gives the driver a plethora of information pertaining to turn-by-turn navigation, tyre pressure monitoring, and drive and traction modes. The GT Line also gets a D-cut steering wheel. The Sonet is equipped with segment-first ventilated driver and front passenger seats. Among the other creature comforts inside the cabin are Bose seven-speaker system with sub-woofer, LED sound mood lighting, wireless smartphone charger with cooling function, Smart Pure air purifier with virus protection and sunroof. Also available is the UVO technology that offers as many as 57 connectivity features.
