Share/Stock Live Updates: The benchmark equity indices on the BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE) extended their opening losses and were trading over 2 per cent lower in the morning session on Friday on heavy across-the-board selling amid a negative trend in global markets and unabated foreign fund outflows.

At 10:37 am, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 1,231.57 points (2.09 per cent) at 57,563.52, while the Nifty 50 tanked 369.50 points (2.11 per cent) to 17,166.75. Both the indices had opened over 1 per cent higher and extended losses as the session progressed.

On the Sensex pack, Maruti Suzuki India, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), State Bank of India (SBI), Titan Company and Bajaj Finserv were the top laggards during the morning deals. Only Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories was trading higher.
