CRISIL upgrades rating of Tier-I bonds of PNB to ‘AA’
CRISIL Ratings upgraded the rating on the Tier I Bonds (under Basel III) of Punjab National Bank (PNB) from `CRISIL AA-/Stable’ to `CRISIL AA/Stable’.
Further, the rating agency has also reaffirmed its rating on Tier II Bonds (under Basel III), Lower Tier II Bonds (under Basel II), Upper Tier II Bonds (under Basel II), Perpetual Tier I Bonds (under Basel II) & Infrastructure Bonds at ‘CRISIL AA+/Stable’ and Certificate of Deposits at `CRISIL A1+
Punjab National Bank was quoting at Rs 40.35, up Rs 0.70, or 1.77 percent on the BSE.
Airtel to invest Rs 5000 crore to scale up its data centre business
Bharti Airtel today unveiled a refreshed brand identity ‘Nxtra by Airtel’ for its data centre business and outlined investment plans to significantly scale up its data centre network to serve the requirements of India’s fast growing digital economy.
Nxtra by Airtel aims to be at the forefront of this growth and plans to invest Rs 5,000 crore by 2025 to further scale up its industry leading network of hyperscale and edge data centres, company said in its release.
Bharti Airtel was quoting at Rs 694.95, up Rs 1.00, or 0.14 percent on the BSE.
Oil mixed after US inventories post surprise gain
Oil prices were mixed on Thursday as selling prompted by an unexpected rise in U.S. inventories eased, with analysts predicting supply may not keep up with a recovery in demand.
Market at 1 PMBenchmark indices were trading marginally lower with buying seen in the realty and PSU banking stocks.The Sensex was down 72.58 points or 0.12% at 59340.69, and the Nifty was down 33 points or 0.19% at 17678.30. About 1724 shares have advanced, 1201 shares declined, and 141 shares are unchanged.
Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC IPO issue subscribed 77% on day 2
The initial public offering of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, a joint venture between Aditya Birla Capital and Sun Life (India) AMC Investments, has seen a subscription of 77 percent as it received bids for 2.13 crore equity shares against IPO size of 2.77 crore equity shares, the data available on exchanges showed.
Non-institutional investors bought 21 percent of their reserved portion, while qualified institutional buyers have put in bids for 26,100 equity shares against their reserved portion of 73.87 lakh shares.
