Counselling for National Eligibility Entrance Test has begun. The online registration process will end on March 24. Candidates will be given the option to choose until March 19, 2019. Allotment for the seat will be done on 25th March and 26th March and the second phase will be from April 5 to April 9, 2019. Andhra Pradesh candidates will be eligible for 50 percent quota in MD/MS/PG diploma seats this year.
Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir who have passed the MBBS examination will not be eligible for the All India 50 percent seats that are available in the quota. But, candidates who are nominated by the Government of India to do MBBS from the state of Jammu and Kashmir will be eligible for the quota in MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses.
The NEET PG exam witnessed 1,48,000 candidates appearing for the exam. NEET PG examination was held in 165 cities in India. This is a computer-based exam which is held in one session.
Earlier, the results of NEET postgraduate examinations were released on 31st January. The minimum cut off for candidates appearing for the exam is 340 out of 1200. Whereas for the SC/ST/OBC category candidates the cut off marks will be 295. Candidates who are physically handicapped will have to score 317 marks out of 1200
Here is a list of the documents that will be required by the candidates who will be appearing for the exam
1. Nationality certificate (Passport or Aadhar card).
2. MBBS/BDS Degree.
3. Proof of Medical Fitness.
4. Certificate of Internship.
5. Receipt of the online fee paid.
