HMD Global, Nokia’s brand licensee in India, finally launched the Nokia 9 PureView in India. The Nokia 9 PureView is the world’s first smartphone with a five-camera array and was globally unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2019 held at Barcelona. The smartphone is priced at ₹49,990 in India and as a limited period offer, consumers purchasing Nokia 9 PureView on Nokia.com will receive a gift card of ₹5,000 and Nokia 705 Earbuds worth ₹9,999 free.
The Nokia 9 PureView has two colour sensors for accurate vibrant colour images and three monochromatic sensors which give sharpness and detail. Nokia claims all five sensors work together to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single sensor of the same type. All five sensors have a resolution of 12MP that are fitted with lenses made by ZEISS.
At the front, the 9 PureView has a 5,99-inch pOLED display with QHD resolution. The display is not stretched to the edges and doesn’t have a notch, so even though the resolution is good and is HDR10 compliant, the design might look a bit dated to many.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage. It’s an Android One device, which means it runs the latest version of Android and is guaranteed to get the latest software updates.
It is backed by a 3,320mAh battery and ships with an 18W quick charger. The Nokia 9 PureView screen also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with biometric face unlock.
