Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Indian benchmark indices opened gap-down amid weak global cues, steep rise in crude oil prices. Both indices recouped majority intraday losses and were marginally in red. The BSE Sensex was down 59.6 points or 0.11% at 55,866.14, and the NSE Nifty 50 was down 7.30 points or 0.04% at 16654.1. Among the Sensex-30 shares, M&M, Powergrid, NTPC, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints and Nestle India were the top gainers, while Sun Pharma, Titan, HDFC, HUL and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the laggards. In the broader markets, the BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices opened flat. Sectorally, auto, metal, PSU Bank and Realty stocks were gaining. On the flip side, IT, Financial Services, FMCG stocks were in red.
