Share Market LIVE: Sensex up 300 pts, Nifty near 16550 on F&O expiry, support at 16450; RIL top gainer, up 3% – The Financial Express

Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Indian equity markets opened with minor cuts on F&O expiry day amid subdued global sentiment. Both indices later pared the losses and were trading marginally higher. The BSE Sensex held mild gains of around 100 points and the NSE Nifty was broadly unchanged at 16,520. Sectorally, the auto and financial indices are down half a percent each while buying is seen in oil & gas and metal names. In the broader markets, the BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices opened flat. Among the Sensex-30 shares, HUL, ITC, HDFC twins, Nestle and NTPC were the top laggards, down up to 1.3 per cent. Reliance, TCS, Tata Steel, meanwhile were the top gainers.
