NEW DELHI: Airline stocks were trading in gains in Thursday’s afternoon session.
Shares of Jet Airways (up 4.82 per cent), Jagson Airlines (up 3.85 per cent), Global Vectra Helicorp (up 2.32 per cent), SpiceJet (up 1.69 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (up 1.59 per cent) and Taneja Aerospace & Aviation (up 0.46 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While TAAL Enterprises (down 0.53 per cent) was the sole loser.
The NSE Nifty 50 index was trading 38.85 points down at 12175.7, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 128.24 points at 41333.02 at around 02:34 pm.
Tata Steel (up 1.65 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra (up 0.88 per cent), HDFC (up 0.77 per cent), Bajaj Finance (up 0.66 per cent), Asian Paints (up 0.57 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.44 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Sensex pack.
On the other hand, Bharti Airtel (down 1.3 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 1.28 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (down 0.87 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki (down 0.8 per cent) were trading in the red.
