NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 18.16 points down at 41,443.10 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Monnet Ispat (up 19.98 per cent) , Lotus Eye Hospital (up 19.79 per cent) , Vantage Corp (up 19.46 per cent) , Kesar Terminals (up 18.84 per cent) , Kkalpana lndustries (up 13.31 per cent) , Megasoft (up 13.26 per cent) , NTC Industries (up 12.19 per cent) , Xpro India (up 11.63 per cent) , Sterling Tools (up 10.35 per cent), Jeevan Scientific Technology Ltd. (up 10.00 per cent), Dishman Carbogen Amcis (up 7 per cent) and DHFL (up 5 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 4.15 points down at 12,210.40.
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 29 shares were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
