NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading in the red in Thursday’s afternoon session.
Shares of Basant Agro Tech (India) (down 3.96 per cent), Rama Phosphates (down 2.89 per cent), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (down 2.20 per cent), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chemicals (down 2.03 per cent), Phosphate Company (down 1.79 per cent), Shiva Global Agro Industries (down 1.69 per cent) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 1.25 per cent) were among the top losers.
While Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers (up 2.47 per cent), M P Agro Industries (up 1.55 per cent), Bharat Agri Fertilizers & Realty (up 1.05 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (up 0.55 per cent) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (up 0.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 27.10 points up at 12248.75, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was up 92.39 points at 41650.96 at around 02:51 pm.
