NEW DELHI: Fertilizer stocks were trading on a mixed note in Thursday’s afternoon session.
Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem (up 4.90 per cent), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 3.22 per cent), GSFC (up 2.75 per cent), Coromandel International (up 2.16 per cent), National Fertilizer (up 1.88 per cent), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals (up 0.87 per cent), Madras Fertlizers (up 0.45 per cent) and Aries Agro (up 0.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Agro Phos (down 4.96 per cent), Southern Petrochemicals Industries (down 2.56 per cent), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 0.81 per cent), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore (down 0.62 per cent), Zuari Agro (down 0.55 per cent), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (down 0.42 per cent) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals (down 0.08 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 21.35 points up at 12364.65 , while the 30share BSE Sensex was up 96.98 points at 41969.71 at around 02:18 pm.
Eicher Motors (up 4.22 per cent), Nestle India (up 3.26 per cent), Zee Entertainment (up 2.03 per cent), Wipro (up 1.55 per cent) and Bharti Airtel (up 1.37 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Vedanta (down 2.06 per cent), NTPC (down 1.94 per cent), JSW Steel (down 1.86 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 1.6 per cent) and Tata Steel (down 1.52 per cent) were trading in the red.
