NEW DELHI: The Nifty Financial Services index was flat with its components trading mixed in Thursday’s afternoon session.
Shares of Shriram Transport Finance (up 1.11 per cent) , REC (up 1.02 per cent) , Bajaj Holdings & Investment (up 0.97 per cent) , Mahindra & Mahindra Financial (up 0.96 per cent) , HDFC LIFE INSURANCE (up 0.67 per cent) , Power Finance Corporation (up 0.66 per cent) , HDFC Bank (up 0.6 per cent) , Bajaj Finance (up 0.5 per cent) , State Bank of India (up 0.46 per cent) , Axis Bank (up 0.44 per cent) , SBI Life (up 0.44 per cent) , ICICI PRU LI (up 0.04 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd (down 1.74 per cent) , HDFC (down 0.9 per cent) , Cholamandalam Investment & Finance (down 0.83 per cent) , ICICI Bank (down 0.56 per cent) , Bajaj Finserv (down 0.19 per cent) , Edelweiss Financial Services (down 0.09 per cent) and ICICIGI (down 0.04 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Financial Services index was trading 0.03 per cent up at 14623.4 around 12:06 pm.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 25.85 points at 12247.5 , while the BSE Sensex was up 92.11 points at 41,650.68.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, SBI, Bank of Baroda, SAIL, JSPL, Tata Steel and NMDC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
