Stock Market Highlights: The Indian equity indices, Sensex and Nifty ended lower on Tuesday dragged by selling banking, metals and auto stocks. Broader markets, smallcap and midcap indices also closed lower. Barring Nifty FMCG and Nifty Pharma, all other sectoral indices ended in the red with metals, PSU banks, auto and financial services indices falling the most.
