Wholesale inflation eases to 13.56 percent in December from 14.23 percent in previous month 

Official data showed WPI inflation came in at 13.56 percent in December, as against 14.23 percent in the previous month. Economists in a CNBC-TV18 poll had expected the reading for December at 14.3 percent. 

Core WPI inflation stood at 11 percent in December, as against 12.2 percent in the previous month. The CNBC-TV18 poll had predicted core inflation at 11.5-12 percent.

–Food inflation at 9.24% in December vs 6.70% in November

–Primary articles inflation at 13.38% vs 10.34% 

–Fuel & power inflation at 32.30% vs 39.81% 

–Manufactured products inflation at 10.62% vs 11.92% 

–All commodities index down 0.35% MoM 

–Primary articles index down 0.47% 

–Fuel & power index down 2.66% 

–Manufactured index up 0.22% 

–Food index down 0.82% 

–Potato inflation at -42.10% vs -49.54%

–Onion inflation at -19.08% vs -30.1%        

–Eggs, meat & fish inflation at 6.68% vs 9.66%     

–Vegetables inflation at 31.56% vs 3.91% 

–October WPI inflation revised to 13.83% from 12.54%
