Tata IPL 2023 Live Streaming Details – 4K video, Multi-camera angles promised by JIO 5G: In a very interesting development around the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, Viacom18 will be providing extraordinary interactive features to the viewers while watching the matches. Viacom18, which is a Reliance-backed live streaming platform, has promised to upgrade the IPL viewing experience by several folds from the coming season.

It is noteworthy that Viacom18 acquired the digital rights of the Tata Indian Premier League in a five-year deal by shelling INR 20,500 Crores during the previously held bidding.

The fans will now get the multi-camera angles to watch the IPL games and can opt for their favourite angle to watch the matches. Besides, the matches will be live-streamed in 4K or ultra-high-definition, which will be the first time in IPL history. So far, Star Sports used to stream the IPL matches in Standard definition ((480p) and High-Definition (720p, 1080p).

All the devices (phone, tablet, Laptop, Screen) that have 4K resolution will be able to watch the matches on 4K with a seamless experience.

Aakash Ambani, the owner of Mumbai Indians and Chairman of Reliance Jio, in the 45th Reliance Industries AGM confirmed the same and said that the IPL 2023 matches will be delivered to be interactive with the viewers.

“Because of the gigabit speed of JioAir Fiber, we can now deliver not only one video stream but multiple video streams showing multiple camera angles at the same time live. That too in ultra-high-definition (4K). We can dynamically choose which camera angle we want to focus on while having a preview of multiple live video streams simultaneously. It makes all the sports truly immersive,” Akash Ambani said at RIL AGM on Monday.

Interestingly, all this will be done with the help of JIO 5G which is going to be rolled out in India by Diwali in all the metro cities.
