After several teaser images and video, Toyota finally decided to unveil their all-new mid-size SUV Urban Cruiser Hyryder in India. The SUV is going to be placed just above Urban Cruise which is basically rebadged version of Brezza. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder will rival with cars like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the segment. Toyota has not revealed the prices for the SUV but, they did share details regarding the features and engine options of the Hyryder SUV. Here we have an image gallery of the recently unveiled Toyota Hyryder compact SUV.
Starting with the front, the Toyota Hyryder gets an all-new design. It gets a premium SUV look at the front with chrome line running through the centre of the front grille. The chrome lines meet the twin LED DRLs on either sides.

The front grille of the Hyryder gets unique crystal acrylic grille as well.
The bumper of the Hyryder SUV gets a muscular or bold design.
The headlamps are placed on the bumper and they are projector LED units.
The lower part of the bumper gets a wide trapezoidal grille with honey comb design elements in it.
Coming to the side profile, the Hyryder gets proper SUV like stance with squared wheel arches and black cladding around the lower portion. There is a sharp shoulder line on the side profile of the car.
The car comes with sleek and dynamic looking 17 inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
As we move to the rear, the boxy design of the SUV becomes a lot more visible.
One of the first things that on would notice at the rear are the sleek and stylish split LED tail lamps. A chrome strip also connects the tail lamps
The reverse lamps and turn indicators are placed on the rear bumper. The branding and variant of the Hyryder is mentioned on the lower part of the tail gate. A rear skid plate is also seen on the lower part of the bumper to add a muscular SUV look.
Moving in, the Toyota Hyryder comes with plush looking dual-tone interior. It is finished in black and brown shade.
There are soft touch materials on the dashboard and door pads. The seats are wrapped in dual-tone leatherette upholstery and they also get ventilated seats at the front. The rear seats also get reclining function.
There is drive mode switch available in the Hyryder as well. Driver can switch between Snow and Sport mode.
Hyryder gets wireless phone charging feature as well on the centre console.
There is a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto. It also shows feed from the 360 degree camera in the Hyryder.
Toyota Hyryder also gets Head-up Display.
The steering wheel on the Hyryder gets buttons to control the infotainment screen and activate cruise control. This is a tilt and telescopic steering wheel with leather wrapped around it.
Toyota also offers connected technology that allows the owners to control various features of the car through a smartphone.
The instrument cluster on Hyryder is a fully digital unit.
The SUV gets a panoramic sunroof as well, automatic climate control and many more features.
Toyota Hyryder will be offered with a 1.5 litre petrol engine. This engine would come with a strong and mild hybrid system depending on the variant you choose. This engine will come with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
