Twitter services are down globally as users report logout errors, failure to retrieve tweets and more – The Financial Express

Twitter services are down for users. (Photo credit: Reuters)Twitter services are down for users, again. This is notably the second time the microblogging website is experiencing issues today. Users around the world are taking to the platform to report multiple issues ranging from search terms and tweets failing to load, and worst-case scenario, logout errors on desktops.
“The term you entered did not bring up any results. Please try again later.” and “Cannot retrieve Tweets at this time. Please try again later.” seem to be the most common issues, and it seems, the bigger issue wherein users are witnessing logout errors is limited to the desktop app, and not the Twitter app for Android and iOS. Interestingly, it appears it is still possible to Tweet using the mobile app and non first-party services like TweetDeck.Related Newstwitter, twitter down, twitter outagetwitter, twitter down, twitter outagetwitter, twitter down, twitter outageTwitter has been facing issues throughout the day. (Photo credit: Downdetector)Earlier this morning, Twitter suffered from a global “access issue” which was also acknowledged by the platform. “Tweets may not be loading for some of you. We’re working on fixing a problem and you’ll be back on the timeline soon,” Twitter had said while adding that it was working on fixing the issue. Over the course of the day, the issue was seemingly resolved though as it turns out, not fully.More than 40,000 users were impacted by the issue, as per Downdetector, a website that tracks outages. To be fair, Twitter never said that it had fixed the issue fully. This might just be one of the longest service errors in recent social media history.
