NEW DELHI: After Bharti Airtel, telecom major Vodafone Idea has also hiked rates of its mobile services, the company said in an official statement on Tuesday.
The new tariff plans will be applicable for all prepaid users and will come into effect from November 25.
“The new plans will start the process of ARPU improvement and help address the financial stress faced by the industry,” it said.
The move comes days after Airtel announced about 25 per cent hike in its pre-paid rates.
