Asia’s largest automotive show returns to the region this year after a three-year break. Several automakers will participate, including Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Hyundai, Tata, MG Motor, Tork, Ultraviolette and more. Varieties of new products, exciting concepts and futuristic technology will be showcased at the event. If you are also a car enthusiast and planning to visit the motor show, here’s everything that you need to know about: –
– Date and Venue: The 16th edition of Auto Expo – The Motor Show will be conducted between January 13 and January 18, 2023, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. However, it is worth noting that January 13 is reserved for business hours, while general public days will start from January 14.
– Motor Show Timings: The general public hours will start from 11AM to 8PM. Entry at the gate will be shut 1 hour before closing time, and entry into the hall will be closed 30 minutes before closing time.
– Tickets/Entry Charges: Auto enthusiasts can buy tickets online on BookMyShow. The entry ticket will cost Rs 750 per person on January 13, Rs 475 on January 14 and 15, and Rs 375 on subsequent days. The exhibition tickets are single-use (one-time) only.
*No ticket will be required for children up to 5 years of age or for persons in wheelchair and one of their attendants/helpers.
– Nearest Metro Station: Expo Mart is approximately 55 km from Delhi airport and 44 km from Kashmere Gate ISBT. One can easily reach the venue using the Delhi-Noida metro network. The nearest metro station to the Expo Mart is Knowledge Park II.
– Prohibited Things: Pets, outside food, unauthorised bicycle, skate board, roller skate, arms & ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol, sharp objects, lighters, matchboxes, replica/toy weapons, inflammable materials, laser pointers, etc are prohibited at the India Expo Mart. However, smoking is allowed but only at designated places.
– Is cloak room facility available?: No, there’s no cloak room facility available at the Expo Mart. Hence, visitors are advised to not carry large handbags, briefcases, backpacks, packets, etc.
– No of Halls: There are 14 exhibition halls apart from outdoor areas for various activities.
– Exhibits On display At Auto Expo: The following will be on display at Auto Expo – The Motor Show: Cars, MUVs/SUVs, 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, special vehicles, concept vehicles, commercial vehicles (trucks & buses), vintage cars, super cars & bikes, tires & tubes, oil companies, automotive design and technology, engineering and IT for automobile companies, institutes, universities, etc., financial institutions, auto insurance companies, media and auto publications.
– Facilities inside the venue: Basic first aid/medical facilities, restrooms, parking, and food & beverages.
