Chinese smartphone maker Honor today launched a bunch of new products in India. The launch witnessed three major products getting unveiled in the event: the Honor 9X phone, the Honor Magic Watch 2 smartwatch, and the Honor Band 5i fitness band.
Here’s a lowdown on the price, offers and specifications of Honor 9X phone, Honor Magic Watch 2 and Honor 5i fitness band.
Honor 9X smartphone availability, price in India:
The Honor 9X smartphone, which was earlier launched in China, comes at a starting price of ₹13,999 for 4GBRAM and 128GB internal storage variant. The other top-end model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage comes with a price tag of ₹16,999. Both the variants come in two colours: Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue.
The Honor 9X smartphone will go live on sale on 20 January on e-commerce site Flipkart.
The sale also comes with exciting offers. Buyers willing to buy can avail themselves of a limited-period discount offer in which the smartphone is available for ₹1,000 less than the original price. The offer is available only on Honor 9X’s 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. Apart from this, banking offers include 10% discount on purchases made using an ICICI Bank credit card and Kotak Mahindra debit or credit card. This offer will be valid from 19-22 January, 2020.
Honor 9X specifications:
The 6.59-inch Honor 9X smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with the custom EMUI 9.1 skin on top with a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. The phone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710F SoC.
Coming to the camera, the device houses 48MP triple rear camera setup with AIS Super Night mode support. The three-camera setup comes with an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera comes with 16MP sensor and is designed as the pop-up camera module.
Moreover, both the variants come with 128GB internal storage which can expand up to 512GB via the microSD card. The smartphone comes with 4,000mAh battery with the 10W fast-charging support.
Honor Magic Watch 2 availability, price in India:
The Honor Magic Watch 2 smartwatch, which was also launched in the event today comes in two variants: 46mm and 42mm. The price of the 46mm model starts at ₹12,999 for the Charcoal Black, while the Flax Brown colour model carries the price tag of ₹14,999.
Moreover, the 42mm model of the Honor Magic Watch 2 is priced at ₹11,999 for the Agate Black variant and the other colour version, Sakura Gold will be available for ₹14,999.
Both these models will go on sale on 18 January for Amazon Prime members, and from 19 January for non-Prime members.
There are slew of discounts on the Honor Magic Watch 2. For starters, buyers will get a free Honor AM61 Bluetooth earphones with their purchase of the smartwatch.
Other offers include 6-month no-cost EMI plans on all credit and debit cards, and instant 10% discount for SBI credit card holders. What’s more, Jio subscribers can also avail Jio benefits on their prepaid plans.

The smartwatch comes with a stainless steel build, which is less susceptible to nicks and scratches on the wearable. Both the variants of the Honor Magic Watch 2 comes packs AMOLED display.
Honor Magic Watch 2 (42mm) promises battery life up to 7 days, heart rate monitoring and GPS. The 46mm variant, on the other hand, comes with 14 days of battery life. It also comes with 15 goal-based fitness modes and with 5ATM water resistance.
The Honor wearable offers eight outdoor modes, seven indoor sports, virtual pace-setter, and heart rate monitoring along with a number of Huwaei health and fitness technology such as Huawei TruSleep 2.0, Huawei TruRelax and Huawei TruSeen 3.5 technology, which provide all-day heart-rate monitoring.
Honor Band 5i availability, price in India:
Honor’s fitness band, the Honor Band 5i comes with a price tag of ₹1,999 and will be live for sale on Amazon India website. Again, Amazon Prime members can buy the product from 18 January onward and the non-members can buy fit from 19 January, 2020.

Honor Band 5i specifications:
The Honor Band 5i has a black body and is available in several colours. It houses 91mAh battery that can work for up to 9 days without charging, the company claims.
The major highlight of the band has a built-in USB connector and it can be plugged into the USB port for charging. It takes roughly 1.5 hours to fully charge the band.
The Honor Band 5i houses a 3-axis inertial sensor, optical heart rate sensor, and infrared light wearing detection sensor. Apart from that, it comes with 5ATM water resistance and Bluetooth v4.2 connectivity.
