New 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N launch tomorrow: Expected price, features, specs – Times of India

Mahindra Scorpio-N is all set to mark its India debut tomorrow on 27th June, 2022 at 5:30 pm. Dubbed as ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will receive major design and interior changes. Ahead of its launch tomorrow, here is all you need to know about the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N.
Expected Price
We expect the new Scorpio-N to cost more than the current-gen Scorpio, now called Scorpio Classic owing to its added features and big dimensions. The Scorpio-N price in India is likely to begin from Rs 13.65 lakh and may go up to Rs 19 lakh for the top-spec variant. All prices are ex-showroom.
Features
The Mahindra Scorpio-N will have a muscular silhouette and bold front fascia, supported by twin-pod LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps and C-shaped LED DRLs. The SUV will feature a six-slat chrome-finished grille. Moreover, it will sit on multi-spoke alloy wheels and will receive a new Mahindra logo similar to the XUV700.
Dimensionally, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N will be 4,662 mm in length, 1,197 mm in width and 1,870 mm in height. The SUV has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.

As far as the interior is concerned, the new-gen Mahindra Scorpio-N cabin gets a revamped design with a large touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, vertical air-con vents and AdrenoX user interface. Other interior features will include a 3D sound system, dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof, wireless charging, roof-mounted speakers, multiple drive modes and more.
Engine and Transmission
The new-gen Mahindra Scorpio-N will come equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that is currently doing duty in the XUV700.

Expect both the engines to come mated with a six-speed manual and automatic transmission units. Moreover, the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio-N might get an AWD system only on higher variants.
