Shah, Kejriwal spar over Delhi Schools

New Delhi: Home minister Amit Shah and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal sparred over the state of schools with Shah posting a video of ground checks by BJP MPs in Delhi government-run schools and Kejriwal countering it as “fake”.

Shah posted these videos and said, “Yesterday eight party MPs went separately to different schools and see their condition….” Shah’s video showed dilapidated school buildings and rooms with no desks.

Kejriwal held a press conference to ‘ëxpose’ the bogus claims of the BJP. “Shah ji may hate us, the AAP. But that does not mean he should insult the 16 lakh children, 32 lakh parents and 65 thousand teachers of Delhi by lying,” said Kejriwal Kejriwal said the dilapidated school buildings shown by BJP MPs had been closed and the schools had been shifted to new swanky buildings.
