NEW DELHI: NBFC stocks were trading on a mixed note in Thursday’s afternoon session.
Shares of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (up 4.98 per cent), Reliance Home (up 4.96 per cent), Reliance Capital (up 4.83 per cent), Edelweiss Financial Services (up 4.65 per cent), Aditya Birla Capital (up 4.26 per cent), Baid Leasing & Finance (up 4.21 per cent), SRG Housing Finance (up 3.53 per cent), IIFL Finance (up 3.13 per cent), Religare Enterprises (up 2.69 per cent) and Ind Bank Housing (up 2.47 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Sakthi Finance (down 3.86 per cent), Akme Star Housing (down 3.12 per cent), IIFL Wealth Management (down 2.46 per cent), Paisalo Digital (down 1.08 per cent), Centrum Capital (down 1.01 per cent), Shriram City Union Finance (down 0.86 per cent), Sahara Housing (down 0.72 per cent) and Motilal Oswal Financial Services (down 0.64 per cent) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty 50 index was trading 19.60 points down at 12194.95, while the 30 shares BSE Sensex was down 71.53 points at 41389.73 at around 12:38 pm.
Tata Steel (up 1.78 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra (up 1.14 per cent), Bajaj Finance (up 0.79 per cent), HCL Technologies (up 0.78 per cent), HDFC (up 0.53 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.52 per cent) and Tech Mahindra (up 0.39 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Sensex pack.
On the other hand, Bharti Airtel (down 1.38 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 0.94 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (down 0.67 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 0.65 per cent), IndusInd Bank (down 0.65 per cent), Maruti Suzuki (down 0.56 per cent) and Reliance Industries (down 0.49 per cent) were trading in the red.
