NEW DELHI: Around 41 stocks jumped to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday’s session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Bharti Airtel, Nestle, Piramal Enterprises, DLF and JK Cement.
Mahanagar Gas, MRF, Tata Chemicals, Manappuram Finance, Bata and Gujarat Gas also featured among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE.
Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 48.60 points up at 12,228.95, while the BSE Sensex was trading 141.08 points up at 41,527.48.
In the Nifty 50 index, YES Bank, UPL , Indian Oil Corp, Zee Ent. and Hero MotoCorp were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, PowerGrid, Cipla, Bharti Infratel, Bharti Airtel and Adani Ports SEZ were among the top losers.
