WhatsApp has gradually emerged as one of the most popular messaging apps all over the world. With more than 1.5 billion subscribers and counting, the chat app is the most preferred way to interact with friends, professionals and even send media across each other.

It has been quite a while that WhatsApp added a feature to change the text format of your chats to make your chats looks more exciting and aesthetic.

You would already know the methods on how to bold, italicize and strike-through your text messages. But do you also know that you can change the font of your boring text format to the Typewriter Font?

Yes, it is no secret and quite possible to change the font to make your texts look more aesthetically pleasing. The mass-favoured Typewriter font is always a hit on every social platform that allows it.

Apart from the bold, italics and strike-through fonts that are easily accessible with a couple of commands on your chats, there is also the typewriter font which is one hard-to-find feature. It needs a little more effort but it is worth it if you like the font and get everyone on your chat list curious about your new find.

How to change the text format to Typewriter Font?

To change the font of your WhatsApp messages, use the ` symbol three times either side of the word. For example, “`Hello“`. The symbol should not be mistaken with ‘ and it is available on both Android and iOS keyboards.

The ` symbol can easily be found on the Android keyboard of your phones but it is slightly tricky to find it on the iPhone keyboard. To get the symbol on your iPhone keyboard, long press on the ‘ symbol and after that, you will get a number of symbols hovering over the long-pressed symbol. Right there, you would be able to find the desired command, well, the symbol, to change your font on WhatsApp.

Apart from this, the popular messaging app is reportedly nearing towards the roll-out the much-awaited Dark Mode theme and also its Delete Messages feature, which will automatically delete messages after a particular time period set by the user and make it look like the message never existed. However, there has been no official announcement of the release of these new features yet, so sit tight until further notice.
